In addition to mental health, the Isaac Ray Forensic Group has substantial expertise in neuropsychology as its primary clinicians are extensively trained in that subspecialty. The Director of IRFG’s Neuropsychology Clinic, Diana S. Goldstein, Ph.D., is a board certified neuropsychologist and all of IRFG’s core psychologists are board eligible. Neuropsychology has particular relevance to forensic cases because its evaluation methods are objective and empirically rigorous, geared toward quantifying the nature and extent of cognitive capabilities and impairments as well as identifying or ruling out suboptimal effort and malingering.
